I-85 North (arriving from Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, etc.):
- Take exit #172 (Durham Fwy, Hwy 147 South & Downtown)
- Continue Durham Freeway for approximately 2-3 miles
- Take exit #14 (Swift Ave)
- Turn left; go across railroad tracks to traffic light at Main St
- Turn left onto Main St, follow to 2nd traffic light
- Turn left onto Anderson St
- Follow Anderson St to pass Campus Dr
- Nasher Museum of Art is on the left on Anderson St
I-85 South (arriving from NY, DC, VA, etc.):
- Take exit #176 (Duke St)
- At the end of the ramp, turn left and continue
- Cross over I-85 bridge and follow Duke St to merge onto Gregson St
- Continue Gregson St for approximately 1-2 miles
- Turn right onto Main St
- Continue Main St to Anderson St
- Turn left onto Anderson St and continue pass Campus Dr
- Nasher Museum of Art is on the left on Anderson St
I-40 East (arriving from Asheville, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, etc):
- I-40 East and I-85 North merge in Greensboro, NC
- When highways divide near Hillsborough, NC, take I-85 North
- Take exit #172 (Durham Fwy, Hwy 147 South & Downtown)
- Continue Durham Freeway for approximately 2-3 miles
- Take exit #14 (Swift Ave)
- Turn left; go across railroad tracks to traffic light at Main St
- Turn left onto Main St then follow to Anderson St
