The Damascus Road process relies on biblical Christian theology and sound social analysis as the foundation of its anti-racism and racial reconciliation training. Senior-level leaders, pastors/associate pastors, lay leaders, and those who play a role in the decision-making and strategic planning of Christian organizations are invited to participate in this training retreat. Those committed to racial reconciliation in local communities are also invited to attend.
Through the 2½ day Damascus Road Workshop, participants will be able to -Deepen their theological and philosophical foundations for anti-racism work -Be exposed to an analysis of racism and build a common understanding of racism -Work together as a team to develop team relationships.
Registrants must participate in the entire program. Limited scholarships are available. Dinner will be provided on October 27. Breakfast, refreshments, and lunch will be provided on October 28 and 29. Participants are encouraged to enjoy dinner together on Friday evening at local restaurants.
