Ever wonder about the birds that call soggy wetlands home? Join us on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am to see what kinds of birds are living in Beaver Marsh Preserve! We will use binoculars and scopes to see what birds we can spot from the edge of the marsh, then take a leisurely walk along the trails to listen for songs and calls. Along the way, we'll keep an eye out for other interesting wetland species, from plants to insects to mammals! This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids along to experience the beautiful preserve. We will meet by the picnic bench behind Compare Foods on Cascadilla St. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, as we may encounter some muddy patches. Event is free but registration is required.
