Honeygirl Meadery celebrates nature and the work of honeybees by making meads (honey wines) with seasonal fruits, flowers, herbs, and honey. Made in Durham, NC, Honeygirl meads are hand-crafted libations made in small batches with all natural ingredients.
The concept of the meadery is to ‘drink the field’ with their hand-crafted meads, and experience the essence of nature and all the places the bees visited.
Honeygirl Meadery is best described as an urban winery. Meads are made and bottled by hand in the on-site production winery, and there is a tasting room on site. The tasting room is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and free tours are offered hourly between 1 and 4 p.m.
Honeygirl Meadery also holds special events on Third Fridays in Durham. Check their website for more details.
