Duke Basketball Museum & Sports Hall of Fame

The 10,400-square-foot Duke Basketball Museum & Sports Hall of Fame, located on the second floor of the Schwartz-Butters Athletic Center on Duke's West Campus, showcases all of Duke's 25 sports in a public museum of video, audio, a theater, and trophy cases showcasing Duke's national championships. Banners, jerseys, portraits, and events that have made Duke sports teams some of the most recognized throughout the world are also on display. This Duke feature has certainly gained interest from Duke fans, sport fans and other visitors, particularly considering studies by the Travel Industry Association of America showing that half of the nation's travelers journey 50 or more miles for a sports event or feature.

The public can access the Duke Basketball Museum & Sports Hall of Fame from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more details on the Museum & Sports Hall of Fame, you can call (919) 613-7500 .

The Museum & Sports Hall of Fame is part of a 41,000-square-foot project that includes the six-story Alan D. Schwartz-Tom A. Butters Duke Athletic Center tower located next to the north corner of Cameron Indoor Stadium that houses an academic center for student athletes and basketball offices.
