Durham’s Film Festivals: A Screening Success
In addition to being a popular location for the movie industry, Durham also has become a haven for moviegoers and “film buffs.” More than a dozen annual film festivals and series call Durham home.
Festivals and series produced by the Carolina Theatre of Durham, Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies, the Durham Arts Council, St. Joseph’s Historic Foundation, and others are well-attended and often screen state, national, and world premieres.
