Confederate Memorial Day Observance
Join living historians portraying the American soldier who served in the Confederate army during the American Civil War. Learn how this traditional observance of sacrifice and honor began in 1866 by the ladies of Columbus, Georgia and how it evolved in to the national recognition of all American soldiers known as Memorial Day. Admission is FREE but donations are gratefully accepted.
