The Scrap Exchange shares its institutional knowledge, business model, and 27 years of creative reuse experience in a four-day workshop on how to start or ramp up your creative reuse center.
Topics include: collecting and managing materials, programming (creative arts services, retail sales, online sales, gallery shows, and more), options for business models, PR and marketing strategies, financial management and data tracking, working with volunteers and staff, working with a board of directors, facility issues, and best practices.
Additional opportunities include attending Board of Directors meeting and committee meetings, Third Friday Gallery opening, open studio, and connections with other professionals in the Reuse sector.
Cost includes: All workshops and some meals during bootcamp hours. Accommodations are not provided.
