The Rise and Fall of Liberty explores the history an iconic tobacco auction warehouse in the southern town of Durham, North Carolina. After the decline of tobacco, the warehouse became the home of creative artists until it was condemned and later demolished. The 52-minute documentary examines the ebb and flow of Liberty's 80-year lifespan, draws parallels with the evolution of downtown Durham, and reveals the interdependent relationship between the two.
