Two days of concerts in support of the Golden Rule. Join Ponysaurus Brewing Co. in supporting the ACLU of North Carolina to continue promoting and protecting the civil liberties of everyone! The goals are simple: Make this year’s event bigger and better, raise more money for the ACLU of NC and have a great time! The event's name roots from Don't Be Mean to People: A Golden Rule Saison, a collaborative beer brewed by Ponysaurus Brewing Co. with Mystery Brewing Company and 40+ other participants in 2016 to raise money and awareness around HB 2, a bill that the breweries all believe "violates Golden Rule #000001." The beer made national headlines and raised over $40,000 for Equality NC and QORDS - Queer Oriented Radical Days of Summer, an organization that leads camping trips for queer and transgender youth. The simple message of "Don't Be Mean to People" is Ponysaurus Brewing Co.'s stand for community engagement to protect the voices and rights of everyone. Last year, Ponysaurus held the first Don’t Be Mean to People festival on May 6th to support the American Civil Liberties Union of North Carolina. The event brought over 1,500 guests to the brewery and raised over $25,000 for the ACLU. In conjunction with the festival, Friday, October 19th Ponysaurus is releasing their kickass collaboration with Runaway! A capsule collaboration line of hats, t-shirt, and a pair of socks as well as The Runaway IPA, a funky collab beer!
