Take a farm tour the first and third Sunday of each month from March to November. The farm will no longer be open to the public for drop ins; rather they want to create meaningful relationships and opportunities with all visitors to the farm through farm tours where individuals, families, and persons of all ages enjoy friendly animals, spend some quality time outdoors, and meet farmers who care about the environment and our community.
Activities on the tour:
-Guided tour of farm stations, pastures, and farm areas by one of the farmers. They will share each of the aspects of the farm, how they are striving to be sustainable, and what to expect in the future.
-Watch the ducks and geese as they forage in their field or play in their pool, and quietly get on their level to see if they will visit with you.
-Visit with the horses, a Halflinger and Connemara.
-Quality brushing time with the rabbits by request. You can help collect the fiber from the angora bunnies during the cooler months so it can be used to spin yarn.
-Feeding time with all the animals throughout the tour
-Goat, sheep, and livestock guardian dog play area for lots of cuddles, pictures, and goofy smiles!
-Playground area for kids (and adults, we won't judge).
-Time at the end to purchase farm products such as: goat cheese and desserts (from Elodie Farms), duck and goose eggs, t-shirts and tote bags (can also preorder what you want), goat milk soap, produce (when available), plants and flowers, depending on weather they may also have snowcones for sale. They accept cash, check, and Venmo for all products, and credit for everything but the cheeses.
