When it comes to hands-on alternative dispute resolution, you can always turn to the Conflict Resolution Center for guidance and support with business, organizational, and family conflicts as well as helping to meet your needs for training and facilitation. As a Community Mediation Center, we partner with members of the community by training and supervising volunteers to serve as our Mediator Partners. Many of our Partners are attorneys or educators that have their own professional career yet volunteer their time to help us to serve the community and our People’s Court (People’s Court operates under the auspices of Durham Criminal Court). Volunteers also help us with our Juvenile Justice Project and our school-based programs wherein we work to reduce truancy and juvenile delinquency.
