The mission of the Levin JCC is to enrich the Jewish community by playing an integral, meaningful role in the lives of individuals, families, groups, and institutions through cultural, recreational, social, and educational programs and activities. Together with the other agencies of the Jewish Federation of Durham-Chapel Hill, the Levin JCC addresses particular needs and requests in the community, to the benefit of all.
The Resource Center is a 700 sq. ft. meeting space with overhead projection and sound system. It is easily set up for a classroom, meeting room or informal use.
Levin JCC Atrium floods with natural light during the day, and in the evening the beautiful wood floor keeps the space warm and inviting. It is perfect for receptions and dancing. Building has a Kashrut policy.
The Sol Schechter Community Hall is a carpeted open room that can accommodate 120 guests at round tables or 200 auditorium-style. The hall has overhead projection, a large screen and a speaker system for movies or presentations.
